Horses are animals characterized by fear and flight, and they may be prone to agitation and nervousness in unfamiliar environments (such as a new competition venue or training place), which may cause them to lose focus and attention. The Super So-Kalm® product provides three key micronutrients that help the horse maintain a calm demeanor and focus on its work. Magnesium - plays many important roles in the body, including muscle function, and is a major cofactor in enzymes, which are important in nerve transmission. A lack of magnesium in the diet can lead to increased neuromuscular excitability.

Vitamin B1 (thiamine) - plays a key role in nerve signal transmission, as well as energy production. The Super So-Kalm® product also provides tryptophan, a key amino acid that can be converted in the horse's liver to produce the important vitamin B niacin.

Usage instructions: Super So-Kalm® powder for horses is a complementary feed that forms part of a balanced diet. It is very palatable and ideal for horses facing new environments, training regimes, or competitions. A 1 kg package can provide a monthly supply of supplements. Designed for an average weight horse of 500 kg; 30 grams daily. An additional 30 grams can be given, two hours before the event. Approximate measure of 30 grams included. Maximum; 60 grams daily (divided into two meals).
