What it is
Duphalyte is an injectable solution containing vitamins, minerals, amino acids and electrolytes, for horses, cattle, calves and dogs.
When to use it
- Dehydration, as diagnosed by a vet
- Protein deficiency
How to use it
Dose: horses and cattle: 100 ml per 50 kg; foals and young calves: 30 ml per 5 kg; dogs: 50 ml per 5 kg · Method: under the skin or slowly into a vein · Use within 28 days of opening
Dispensed on a veterinary prescription — your vet sets the right dose.
How much is in the pack
500 ml: about 5 doses for a 10 kg dog; a 450 kg horse needs about 900 ml per dose (almost 2 bottles).
