AquaVitro Shrimp Start is the complete conditioner for your freshwater shrimp aquarium. Shrimp Start removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia. It also converts ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that can be easily removed by the aquarium's biological filter. Shrimp Start can be used during the aquarium cycle to reduce ammonia/nitrite toxicity and allows the biological filter to remove these substances more efficiently. It also breaks down heavy metals present in tap water. Shrimp Start is non-acidic and will not affect the pH level. Use it at startup and any time you add or replace water.

Usage Instructions:
Use 5 ml (one teaspoon) for every 20 liters (5 US gallons) of new water. It can be added directly to the aquarium, but it is best to add it to the new water first. If added directly to the aquarium, the base dose should be based on the aquarium's volume. The sulfur smell is natural. In the case of very high concentrations of chloramine, a double dose can be used safely. To eliminate nitrite in an emergency, up to 5 times the normal dose can be used. If the temperature is greater than 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use half the dose.
