AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner is a highly concentrated water conditioner that acts as a comprehensive solution, making tap water safe for fish immediately by removing chlorine, chloramine, and heavy metal toxicity commonly found in tap water. AQUA ESSENTIAL removes toxic ammonia and nitrate and nitrite levels instantly in freshwater, saltwater, and planted tanks. Toxic ammonia is continuously released by fish through gills, urine, and solid waste. Uneaten Food and decaying organic matter also contribute to ammonia levels. Small amounts of ammonia cause stress to fish; while large amounts of ammonia can kill fish. This unique formula binds ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate, making them non-toxic and enabling the biological filter to remove them more efficiently.

Use it at the start and any time you add or change water or when ammonia, nitrate, or nitrite levels are high. When adding, moving, or placing fish in quarantine, we recommend using API STRESS COAT water conditioner, which is ideal for use with AQUA ESSENTIAL water conditioner.

Using the dose cap on the bottle, add 5 ml per 50 gallons of tank water to treat tap water. Add 5 ml per 10 gallons of tank water to remove ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. We recommend waiting 24 hours after dosing, then change the water. If you dose during that 24-hour period, there is no risk to animals/plants in your tank. Regular water changes are always beneficial to the aquatic system.
