The Dymax stainless steel Co2 diffuser uses special ceramic enhancements. The quartz plate has an extremely fine effect and a high dissolution rate, resulting in a continuous flow of carbon dioxide being broken into very small bubbles. These very small bubbles produce a much higher surface area to volume ratio compared to larger bubbles, facilitating the gas diffusion process in water.
