Terrarium meets aquarium: The Exo Terra Paludarium is a semi-aquatic terrarium habitat that simulates a rainforest, swamp, or stream and can house both aquatic and terrestrial animal and plant species. The paludarium combines the best of both worlds: the bottom features an additional raised front glass, providing a higher water level and increased water volume compared to a regular terrarium.

The unique root background provides additional climbing opportunities and mimics the natural environment of a banyan tree root. The three-dimensional living space makes it an excellent habitat for a number of arboreal species such as tree boas, python snakes, day geckos, leaf-tailed geckos, tokay geckos, tree frogs, and others.

The additional raised front glass in the Exo Terra Paludarium allows for the inclusion of a large water section or aquarium compartment, enabling you to keep aquatic animals and plants alongside the terrestrial section or terrarium. Part of the water section can consist of a false bottom to support the terrestrial section, providing and concealing aquatic equipment such as filters, pumps, and heaters, and can double as a means of biological filtration.
