The Aqua Clear Power Head 20 pump is a multifunctional pump delivering excellent performance in a variety of applications. It can effectively run undergravel filters, circulate and aerate aquarium water, and connect to filtration accessories like the Aqua Clear Fast Filter to support perfectly clean water conditions.
The Power Head 20 comes with a Venturi aeration valve that raises oxygen levels, which is important when water temperature or fish numbers increase, or during disease treatment.
It can also be connected to operate protein skimmers, which are essential devices for most marine tanks.
Using the Power Head 20 with the Aqua Clear Fast Filter provides additional safe mechanical filtration for cleaner water conditions and protection for fry fish.
The Power Head 20 is essential in small reef tanks, where it can be easily hidden and provides very beneficial currents. Freshwater tanks also benefit from additional currents in many applications.
The Power Head 20 includes many innovations in design, safety, and utility: a compact, energy-efficient motor unit, fully submersible and encapsulated in epoxy resin; adjustable flow control; Venturi feature for additional aeration and greater air output than most vibration pumps; vertical/horizontal flow breaker; adjustable flow control; shaft adapter; convenient suction cups for easy installation; and output hose adapters allowing easy connection to protein skimmers, spray bars, and other accessories.
