The unique dual-flow principle of the JUWEL Bioflow filter system is based on the ability to achieve different flow speeds, which helps create a very high filtration performance for the Bioflow system. The fast flow speed is particularly beneficial in the upper part of the filter for mechanical and chemical filtration. On the other hand, the slow flow speed is beneficial in the lower part of the filter to ensure optimal development of anaerobic bacteria, which are vital for biological filtration.
