Matrix is a highly porous biomaterial that provides effective biological filtration for the removal of nitrogenous waste. Matrix is a solid inorganic body with a porosity size of about 10 mm in diameter.

Usage Instructions:
Use 250 ml of Matrix for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of water. Matrix can be placed in any type of filter, and it is particularly effective in a canister filter. Matrix is large enough that a filter bag should not be necessary in most applications.
