PhosNet is a high-porosity, high-surface-area, high-binding-capacity Granular Ferric Oxide (GFO). It will quickly remove phosphates and silicates from both freshwater and saltwater, and will not release them back into the aquarium.

Usage Instructions:
For best results, PhosNet should be rinsed before use and installed in a way that enhances water flow through it without tumbling in the flow. It can be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high-flow area in a drip filter. It is recommended to use a filter bag such as "The Bag".

Use 50 grams (half a cup) for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of saltwater or 400 liters (100 US gallons) of freshwater.
