The Exo Terra® Monsoon MULTI system is a programmable misting system suitable for all types of hydroponics and greenhouses. It helps maintain optimal humidity by generating a fine mist at pre-set intervals, where the duration and frequency of the mist can be easily adjusted according to the type of animal or plant present. The frequent misting helps stimulate breeding behavior and is essential when cultivating live tropical plants such as sprouts, orchids, mosses, and others.
The system can be programmed to spray water several times during a 24-hour cycle, with spray durations ranging from two seconds to two minutes. The large 8-liter (2-gallon) tank ensures continuous operation for several days without the need for refilling (ideal for holidays!), and the tank can be easily refilled without the need to disassemble the entire system.
The Exo Terra Monsoon MULTI system comes with two easy-to-install nozzles, but the system can be expanded to accommodate up to 6 nozzles, making it ideal for multiple hydroponic setups. (Please note that each additional nozzle will reduce the performance of each installed nozzle.) The mist produced by these specially designed nozzles is extremely fine, creating a fog effect in hydroponics or greenhouses, and the extra-long tubing makes it possible to conceal the unit in a storage area or under the hydroponics in a cabinet.
