The Aquamedic Kalkwasser device is a unique stirring device. Kalkwasser is considered one of the easiest ways to add calcium and alkalinity, and using the Kalkwasser device makes it even easier. The Aquamedic Kalk device can handle very low flow rates because the stirring mechanism does not rely on water pressure or an independent mixing pump. The electric motor maintains a very consistent mixing of Kalkwasser with low-flow dosing pumps. Many other available Kalkwasser devices use a mixing pump to violently mix Kalkwasser at specific times. This creates a highly concentrated Kalkwasser mixture that cannot be measured until it settles. To protect the user from these risks, these types of devices require a complex series of timers to control pump operation.
