Aquail quartz sand is a very fine and light white substrate for fish tanks. It creates beautiful contrasts with colorful shrimp. It is also ideal for creating paths and walkways in aquatic tank designs, for example. This natural material contains no additives or artificial coatings, making it water-neutral and releasing no pollutants. Additionally, quartz sand can be used in freshwater tanks, as it does not harden the water. Quartz sand is available in two different grain sizes. For large tank designs, we recommend a grain size ranging from 0.4 to 1.2 mm. Both grain sizes are available in 2 kg or 10 kg bags. For small tank designs, we recommend a grain size ranging from 0.1 to 0.3 mm.
