Cortaflex® HA Regular Powder is designed to maintain healthy joint nutrition in horses and ponies that work lightly to moderately, or older horses that need extra support in movement!

Cortaflex® HA Regular Powder provides a tried and trusted blend of essential compounds, with low sugar levels, making it suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis.

Cortaflex® HA Regular Powder includes collagen, hyaluronic acid, trace elements, and amino acids to build the essential nutritional support to maintain healthy cartilage and joint fluids. Cartilage is the spongy, flexible material that covers the ends of bones within the joint, acting as a primary shock absorber and helping to reduce friction. Joint fluids or synovial fluid should be thick and viscous, to immerse and lubricate the joint, and also act as a vital shock absorber.

What is Cortaflex®?
Cortaflex® supplements stand out from others on the market and are often misrepresented when compared to other joint supplements! Cortaflex® provides the building blocks to help specialized cells in the cartilage, called chondrocytes, maintain joint health.

What are the benefits of Cortaflex?

• Collagen – An important compound needed by chondrocytes to produce the cartilage's water matrix. Collagen helps give cartilage its strength. (We use a sustainable and ethical source of marine-derived collagen.)
• Amino Acids such as Glutamic Acid – Converted in the horse's body to glutamine, which combines with glucose to form glucosamine – which in turn combines with other compounds to help cartilage gain its elasticity and shock-absorbing properties.
• Hyaluronic Acid (HA) – A major component of joint fluids, which immerse the joint and act as oil and shock absorber.
• Copper, Manganese and Silicon – Important trace elements needed by horses to produce their own chondroitin, (another important structural compound in cartilage), collagen, and hyaluronic acid.
