Filter carbon for clear glass aquarium water - especially for new aquarium setups

Carbon EHEIM is particularly suitable for water purification during the aquarium setup phase. It safely captures chlorine from tap water and other chemicals that can enter the aquarium during installation.

Carbon EHEIM should be used for a short period (about 4 weeks) in the layered setup after mechanical filter media (such as EHEIM Mech or Mech Pro) and biological filter media (such as EHEIM Substrat Pro) in the provided mesh bag.

Tip:

Absorptive filter media should only be used for a short period, as harmful substances bind to them and can be released after a certain period, returning to the water.
