EHEIM pre-filter

This additional pre-filter traps most coarse dirt particles even before the water reaches the external filter. Its base is firmly settled at the bottom of the tank. Water is drawn from all sides, over a wide area, through adjustable filter baskets that can be filled with filter media, cleaned, and replaced easily. To clean, simply remove the filter baskets.

This means the biological decomposition process in the external filter is significantly prolonged and service intervals are increased

Water is drawn through the gravel base via detachable filter baskets (Easy Klick) which can be easily cleaned

Installation using a telescopic tube instead of the intake tube
