The EHEIM professionel 5e is our best external filter yet, providing everything aquarium enthusiasts desire. Every function can be individually programmed and controlled remotely. The electronic system monitors all functions and maintains a continuous flow while delivering strong performance thanks to the large filter volume. The smart design and electronic flow regulation significantly extend maintenance intervals for biological filter media, in addition to the smooth performance known from EHEIM. Four versions of the filter are available, including a thermal filter (600T) with an integrated heater, developed for aquariums ranging from 180 to 700 liters. Additionally, the EHEIM professionel 5e 350 offers two special features: it is fully equipped with filter media and you can expand the filter function (Xtender).

The EHEIM professionel 5e was developed for aquarium enthusiasts with very high demands in terms of ease of use and quality. It combines powerful pump performance and large box and filter volume with smart design advantages and intelligent electronic control. With the integrated Wi-Fi function, it can be easily configured via smartphone, tablet, or computer/Mac. The individual functions are: constant flow, bio mode, pulse mode, and manual mode. Additionally, the EHEIM professionel 5e can be linked with other devices - such as the LEDcontrol+ lighting control system.

The individual settings and functions are as follows:

Output control:

Gradual increase in water flow rate - maximum capacity exceeds traditional filters' performance.

Constant flow:

Detects increased contamination in the filter electronically and adjusts automatically according to the programmed output rate. This ensures a constant flow rate and extended maintenance intervals.

Pulse mode:

Ensures electronically controlled alternating current for natural flow conditions in the aquarium.

Bio mode (Sun/Moon):

Switches between 2 adjustable flow rates.

Service indicator:

Permanent maintenance period monitoring. Cleaning notification is automatically sent to the stored email address.

Automatic air output:

Accumulated air under the filter head is detected and automatically vented by an electronic program.

Electronic error indicator:

Permanent electronic system monitoring. This initiates a program that automatically attempts to eliminate the cause of any errors.

Wi-Fi shutdown:

Optionally, the integrated Wi-Fi function can be disabled after each configuration. The filter can operate without Wi-Fi. To use the functions again, the Wi-Fi function must be reactivated.
