The EHEIM professionel 5e filter is our best external filter yet, offering everything aquarium enthusiasts could wish for. Every function can be individually programmed and controlled wirelessly. The electronic system monitors all functions and maintains a constant flow, in addition to providing strong performance thanks to the large filter volume. The smart design and electronic flow regulation significantly extend maintenance intervals for the biological filter media, along with the smooth performance EHEIM products are known for. Four versions of the filter are available, including a thermal filter (600T) with an integrated heater, developed for aquariums ranging from 180 to 700 liters. Additionally, the professionel 5e 350 filter offers two special features: it is fully equipped with filter media and you can expand the filter function (Xtender).

The EHEIM professionel 5e filter is developed for aquarium enthusiasts with very high demands for ease and quality. It combines powerful pump performance, a large container, and filter volume with smart design advantages and intelligent electronic control. With the built-in Wifi function, it can be easily configured wirelessly via smartphone, tablet, or computer/Mac. The individual functions are: constant flow, bio mode, pulse mode, and manual mode. Additionally, the professionel 5e can be linked with other devices - such as the LEDcontrol+ lighting control system.

Settings and individual functions are as follows:

Output control:

Gradual increase in water flow rate - exceeds the maximum capacity of traditional filters.

Constant flow:

Increased contamination in the filter is electronically detected and automatically adjusted according to the output you have programmed. This ensures a constant flow rate and extends maintenance intervals.

Pulse mode:

Electronically controlled alternating current ensures natural flow conditions in the aquarium.

Biological mode (Sun/Moon):

Switches between two adjustable flow rates.

Service indicator:

Continuous monitoring of the maintenance period. A cleaning notification is automatically sent to the stored email address.

Automatic air discharge:

Air accumulated under the filter head is detected and automatically discharged by an electronic program.

Electronic error indicator:

Continuous monitoring of the electronic system. This initiates a program that automatically attempts to eliminate the cause of any errors.

Turn off Wifi:

The built-in Wifi function can optionally be turned off after each configuration. The filter can operate without Wifi. To use the functions again, the Wifi function must be reactivated.
