The EHEIM professionel 5e filter is our best external filter to date, offering everything an aquarium enthusiast could wish for. Each function can be individually programmed and controlled remotely. The electronic system monitors all functions and maintains a constant flow, in addition to providing strong performance thanks to the large filter volume. The smart design and electronic flow regulation significantly extend maintenance intervals for biological filter media, along with the smooth performance known from EHEIM. Four versions of the filter are available, including a thermal filter (600T) with an integrated heater, developed for aquariums ranging from 180 to 700 liters. Additionally, the professionel 5e 350 filter offers two special features: it is fully equipped with filter media, and you can expand the filter function using (Xtender).

The EHEIM professionel 5e filter is developed for aquarium enthusiasts with very high demands for ease of use and quality. It combines powerful pump performance and a large filter volume with smart design advantages and intelligent electronic control. With the built-in Wifi function, it can be easily configured remotely via smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. The individual functions are: constant flow, biological mode, pulse mode, and manual mode. Additionally, the professionel 5e can be linked with other devices - for example, with the LEDcontrol+e lighting control system.

Settings and individual functions are as follows:

Output Control:

Gradual increase in water flow rate - exceeds the maximum capacity of conventional filters.

Constant Flow:

Increased pollution in the filter is electronically detected and automatically adjusted to your programmed output. This ensures a constant flow rate and extended maintenance periods.

Pulse Mode:

The electronically controlled alternating current ensures natural flow conditions in the aquarium.

Biological Mode (Sun/Moon):

Switches between 2 adjustable flow rates.

Service Indicator:

Permanent monitoring of the maintenance period. A cleaning notification is automatically sent to the stored email address.

Automatic Air Venting:

Air accumulated under the filter head is detected and automatically vented by an electronic program.

Electronic Error Indicator:

Permanent monitoring of the electronic system. This starts a program that automatically attempts to remove the cause of any Errors.

Wifi Off:

Optionally, the built-in Wifi function can be turned off after each configuration. The filter can operate without Wifi. To use the functions again, the Wifi function must be reactivated.
