The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is our first adjustable heater with digital control via WLAN. You can precisely set the temperature from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius via smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. The specified temperature is measured electronically with precision and maintained consistently. However, if the temperature deviates by ± 2 degrees Celsius, you will receive an immediate notification via email. It can also automatically synchronize with filter or lighting activity, meaning you can wirelessly connect to the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or LEDcontrol+.

The design of the thermocontrol+ e matches the design of our established thermocontrol heaters. It combines a special laboratory glass cover, flawless finish, high-quality materials, and absolute reliability, providing an ideal heater. Our heaters come with a 3-year warranty and there are 4 sizes to choose from - whether you want to heat an aquarium of 200 or 1000 liters.

Adjustment and Control

The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater is an advanced development of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike the latter, it is not manually adjusted but is programmed and monitored wirelessly via WLAN and through smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac.

It can be precisely set from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius. If the specified temperature deviates by +/- 2 degrees, you will receive a notification via email, provided you have stored a matching address.

Synchronization with Other Devices

One special feature is that the thermocontrol+ e can be synchronized with other devices in the Eheim digital family such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LEDcontrol+ lighting unit. You can thus specify that the set temperature rises or falls when the filter flow is increased or decreased (in biological mode) or when the LED lighting is turned on or off.

Example: The filter flow is increased at night and the lighting is turned off. The set temperature is automatically adjusted accordingly: 25 degrees Celsius during the day; 23 degrees Celsius at night. (Please note: the water is not cooled - the heater does not have built-in cooling).

Connection via WLAN

The thermocontrol+ e heater is waterproof and fully submersible. For optimal WLAN connection, the heater should only be submerged up to the "water level" mark.

To ensure the security of your device, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e device is factory encrypted (password can be set). After setting the desired temperature, the Wi-Fi network can be turned off.
