For the treatment and prevention of recurrent gastric ulcers in adult horses

Active Ingredient: Omeprazole 250 mg/g

Package Size: The box contains 10 sachets, each sachet - 50 × 2 grams.

Indications for Use: Inhibition of hydrochloric acid production is the cornerstone in the treatment and prevention of both Equine Squamous Gastric Disease (ESGD) and Equine Glandular Gastric Disease (EGGD). Omeprazole, a commonly used medication, inhibits acid production and facilitates ulcer healing.

Dosage:

• Treatment dose: Administer one sachet weighing 2 grams per 250 kg of body weight once daily for two weeks.
• Prevention/Maintenance dose: Administer one sachet weighing 2 grams per 500 kg once daily as long as the horse is in training, as directed by the veterinarian.
  Administer on an empty stomach and only with a very small amount (20 grams) of dry feed - do not wet the Food as moisture affects the granules.

Storage: Store at a temperature below 25°C (air conditioning).
