The Swing Microchip cat flap features a special antenna that detects and decodes your animal's subcutaneous ISO11784 chip, allowing the flap to open when the animal approaches. Thanks to the excellent selective recognition system, it allows the animal to pass in a controlled manner, avoiding the entry of foreign cats.

Easy to program, the cat flap can store up to 32 standard ISO11784 chips, and it has been designed and tested to ensure maximum reliability and great flexibility in use. Saving the chip code is quick and easy: just approach your friend and press the appropriate red button to save the code.

The Swing Microchip flap, made of durable plastic, can be installed on any structure: wood, glass, or brick wall. Note: For glass installation, it is advisable to consult a glazier before the process as holes cannot be drilled in tempered or double glass unless they are made at the time of manufacture.

For installations on metal doors, it is necessary to insert a wooden space with a thickness of at least 5 cm between the door and the metal surface: this is to avoid interference with the door recognition system. This new model shares with the Swing doors the Wind Stopper system for draft protection and the special closure with a 4-way regulator, which allows you to decide whether you want to give your cat the freedom to enter and exit, or only enter or only exit, or lock the door completely.

If necessary, the cat recognition system can also be disabled, and the door can be operated in the traditional way. This door operates on batteries (with 6 AA batteries) and includes a low battery indicator. Do not worry, in case the batteries are completely depleted, the codes remain saved in the memory, so there is no need to repeat the registration process.

This door also features a useful indicator for the last step: it is a small plastic marker that lets you instantly understand whether your four-legged friend is indoors or outdoors. If your cat does not already have the implanted chip, you can use the practical collar with the chip that you will find as a gift in the package.

Finally, regarding the maintenance of the Swing Microchip, it is sufficient to periodically clean the plastic door and the infrared sensors inside the tunnel, on the left and right of the door itself, with a soft, dry cloth.
