• OSPHOS contains clodronate to support bone health.
• OSPHOS is used to relieve forelimb lameness associated with traumatic processes of the distal sesamoid bone (scaphoid bone) in adult horses.
• OSPHOS is used to control the clinical signs associated with marine syndrome in horses 4 years of age and older. 
• OSPHOS is the only bisphosphonate approved by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for intramuscular use in horses. 
• It prevents bone resorption by reducing the number of active osteoclasts, regardless of the reason for the osteoclast activity and also prevents bone formation and degeneration. 

Dosage and method of use of Osphos

• Administer 1.8 mg/kg by intramuscular injection.
• The maximum permissible dose is 900 mg per horse. 
• Divide the total volume evenly into three separate injection sites.
