The blue fluorescent light is ideal for enabling the internal symbiosis of algae in soft and hard corals and other invertebrates. The emitted blue LED spectrum has been expanded using two different types of LEDs, ensuring the appropriate wavelengths for photosynthesis.

It is also used to enhance color and depth as additional lighting in a Malawi tank or as moonlight. The preferred combination is with the bright neutral white LED X-Change tube or the LED X-Change daylight tube at sunrise.

In collaboration with Sera's digital dimmer, the light intensity of the Sera LED X-Change Marine Blue tube can be controlled at sunrise. Additionally, it is even possible to simulate sunrise and sunset at individually set times.
