sera UV-C device is a universal and very powerful system. It can be used in aquariums, fish, and water gardens. UV-C rays are not present on Earth, but only exist in space. Therefore, no living organism has adapted to these strong radiations during evolution, not even the disease-causing organisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi) and the floating forms of filamentous algae. This is used by the UV-C system from sera during the filtration process, improving conditions and the health of aquarium animals. Bacterial cloudiness and water greening in the pond are effectively eliminated.

Inside the system, water is exposed to UV-C radiation for a short period. The device is equipped with a UV-C lamp, which is protected by a high-quality quartz glass sleeve through which the water is exposed to radiation. Water enters through an inlet connector and exits from a second connector on the other side. The connector allows for the connection of hoses of different diameters.

One end of the system equipped with the connector can be rotated, allowing the connector to be adjusted as needed.

The system is available in different sizes to meet all your needs (see table). They are connected to a suitable pump via hoses. The UV-C system is equipped with an energy-saving lamp with a well-functioning electronic ballast.
