Feeding Instructions

As with any new feed, introduce gradually over a week. 

PuraBeet should be fed after soaking. 

Soak for approximately 12 hours in cold water (using hot water will reduce the minimum soaking time), at a ratio of 1 part PuraBeet to 5 parts water. 

Feed according to needs and condition. Start with 50 grams per 100 kg of body weight daily, and increase as needed up to a maximum of 2.5 kg daily. For example, for horses weighing 500 kg, start with 250 grams daily (dry weight, before soaking) and increase as needed.

Nutrients

All products are natural and seasonal variations may occur. Each product package will indicate the typical analysis related to the batch/lot within the bag. Below are the specification ranges for this product to provide an indication of the seasonal variations that can occur for this product.

Vitamins and minerals

We do not add vitamins because the feed itself naturally contains them, often in their previous form, so each product package of feed indicates the average vitamin and mineral figures produced by the British Association of Green Crop Dryers to give an indication of the levels present within alfalfa or grass. However, Simple System conducts mineral analysis every two years or when changing the product source. Below are the latest figures related to this product.
