Lice:

Dogs and other warm-blooded animals are particularly susceptible to lice infestations in hot climates or during summer months when air temperatures and humidity levels are high. Dogs can catch lice from their furry friends or the surrounding environment. Lice use their strong hind legs to jump onto the "host" (your dog) and then bite the animal. These bites can cause itching, hair loss, hot spots from scratching, and skin infections. You may also notice small dirt-like particles on your animal - these are lice droppings and digested blood.

Female lice can live for up to a few weeks on your animal and may lay between 20-30 eggs per day during that period. Some eggs will develop into larvae on your animal, while others fall into your home environment - where they feed on skin flakes and other organic materials. Pet owners should treat the dog as well as the indoor and outdoor home environment. Description:

For use only on dogs. Gently cleanses and exfoliates skin and fur. Leaves fur soft and shiny. Also helps soothe skin irritated by lice bites.

• Permethrin: Permethrin is a synthetic medication used as an insect repellent and insecticide. It also treats scabies. It is widely used in many lice and tick products for pets and requires EPA registration for use.
• Paraben-free: Parabens have been found to mimic estrogen in the body - and when levels are disrupted, a link has been developed with breast cancer and reproductive issues. All our formulations are paraben-free, to enhance the safety, well-being, and health of your animal. 
• pH Balanced: Sensitive animal skin needs pH-balanced treatment. Human shampoos are formulated with a lower pH level (more acidic) - and should not be used on your animal.
• Soap-free: Only the mildest cleansers derived from nature are used in our formulations. They contain no harsh soaps or harmful detergents.
• Kills lice and ticks on contact: Made with pyrethrin for maximum lice control.
• Dye-free

Thoroughly wet the animal with warm water for 2-3 minutes to fully moisten the hair. Do not apply shampoo around the eyes. Apply shampoo to the head and ears, then lather; repeat the procedure with the neck, chest, middle, and back, and finish with the legs. Leave the animal standing for 10 minutes (this is an important part of the grooming procedure), then rinse the animal thoroughly. In excessively dirty or scaly animals, the above procedure may be repeated. Pet bedding and areas should be treated at the same time with an approved product. Wash your hands after handling the product. Do not reapply the product for a week. Please use the following amount of shampoo according to your dog's size: • Less than 9 kg: 15 ml • 9-23 kg: 45 ml • 23 kg or more: 75 ml
