Feeding Suggestions:
Do not overindulge in treats: While it may be tempting when your pet begs for more, you should not overindulge in treats and keep them regulated. Treats are meant to be a complement to your pet's diet. As with us, overindulgence in treats can cause weight gain and will also lead to an imbalance in your pet's diet, which should be complete and balanced to maintain their health. Ideally, treats should not exceed 10% of the daily caloric intake required for your pet, so regular meal portions should be reduced to avoid weight gain, considering what they have consumed in treats during training sessions in the day. This also applies to treats given as general rewards for good behavior. If you do not do this, your pet will slowly gain weight, and the extra kilograms over the ideal weight will be harmful to your pet's health.
Regarding treats: We always recommend that your pet consumes treats under supervision, especially when trying a new treat. Some dogs (which is unusual for cats) can be overly "enthusiastic" when it comes to tasty pieces and may not chew properly, which could lead to a choking hazard.
When to give treats to your pet: Between meals is the ideal time to offer treats, not immediately before or after a meal. Choose a treat your pet will enjoy. If you are using treats as a training tool, your treat will not be as effective immediately after your pet has had a full meal.
Suitable for cats and dogs at all life stages.
