What it is
CACO-IRON-COPPER by Equimed is a blood product combining iron, copper and cacodylate to speed up red blood cell production in horses.
When to use it
- For a horse with anaemia.
How to use it
Dose: 30 ml per 454 kg · Method: slow injection into the vein after disinfecting the site · Every: 2 days.
How much is in the pack
For a 450 kg horse the dose is about 30 ml, so the 100 ml bottle gives about 3 doses.
