The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e device is our first adjustable heater with digital control via WLAN. You can precisely set the temperature from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius via smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. The specified temperature is measured electronically with precision and maintained consistently. However, if the temperature deviates by ± 2 degrees Celsius, you will be immediately notified via email. Automatic synchronization with filter or lighting activity is also possible, meaning you can wirelessly connect to the EHEIM professionel 5e device or LEDcontrol+.

The design of the thermocontrol+ e matches the design of our established thermocontrol heaters. It combines a special laboratory glass casing, flawless finish, high-quality materials, and absolute reliability to provide the best heater. The heaters come with a 3-year warranty and there are 4 sizes to choose from - whether you want to heat an aquarium with a capacity of 200 or 1000 liters.

Adjustment and Control

The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e heating device is an advanced development of the thermocontrol e heating device. Unlike the latter, it is not manually adjusted but is programmed and monitored wirelessly via WLAN and through smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac.

It can be precisely set from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius. If the specified temperature deviates by +/- 2 degrees, you will receive a notification via email, provided you have a suitable stored address.

Synchronization with Other Devices

One of the highlights of the thermocontrol+ e is the ability to synchronize with other devices in the Eheim digital family such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or the LEDcontrol+ lighting unit. You can specify that the set temperature rises or falls when, for example, the filter flow increases or decreases (in bio mode) or the LED lighting is turned on or off.

Example: The filter flow is increased at night and the lighting is turned off. The set temperature is automatically adjusted accordingly: 25 degrees Celsius during the day; 23 degrees Celsius at night. (Please note: the water is not cooled - the heater does not have built-in cooling).

WLAN Connection

The thermocontrol+ e device is waterproof and can be fully submerged. For optimal WLAN connection, the heater should be submerged only up to the "water level" mark.

To ensure the security of your device, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e device is encrypted at the factory (password can be set). After setting the desired temperature, the Wi-Fi network can be turned off.
