The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is our first adjustable heater with digital control via WLAN. You can precisely set the temperature from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius via smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac. The specified temperature is measured electronically with precision and maintained consistently. However, if the temperature deviates by ± 2 degrees Celsius, you will be immediately notified via email. Automatic synchronization with filter or lighting activity is also possible, meaning you can wirelessly connect to the EHEIM professionel 5e heater or LEDcontrol+ lighting.

The construction of the thermocontrol+ e conforms with our established thermocontrol heaters. It combines special laboratory glass, flawless finish, high-quality materials, and absolute reliability, providing the optimal heater. The heaters come with a 3-year warranty and there are 4 sizes to choose from - whether you want to heat a 200 or 1000-liter aquarium.

Adjustment and Control

The EHEIM thermocontrol+ e aquarium heater is the advanced evolution of the thermocontrol e heater. Unlike the latter, it is not manually adjusted but is programmed and monitored wirelessly via WLAN and through smartphone, tablet, or PC/Mac.

It can be precisely adjusted from 18 to 32 degrees Celsius. If the specified temperature deviates by +/- 2 degrees, you will receive a notification via email, provided you have stored an appropriate address.

Synchronization with Other Devices

Synchronization with other devices in the Eheim Digital family such as the EHEIM professionel 5e filter or LEDcontrol+ lighting control is a standout feature. You can specify that the set temperature rises or falls when, for example, the filter flow increases or decreases (in biological mode) or the LED lighting is turned on or off.

Example: The filter flow is increased at night and the lighting is turned off. The set temperature is automatically adjusted accordingly: 25 degrees Celsius during the day; 23 degrees Celsius at night. (Please note: the water is not cooled - the heater does not have a built-in cooling system).

WLAN Connection

The thermocontrol+ e heater is waterproof and fully submersible. However, to achieve optimal WLAN connection, the heater should only be submerged up to the "water level" mark.

To ensure the security of your device, each EHEIM thermocontrol+ e is encrypted upon leaving the factory (the password can be edited). After setting the desired temperature, the Wi-Fi network can be turned off.
