CupriSorb is a powerful sorbent for copper and heavy metals. CupriSorb will remove copper more quickly and efficiently than carbon, and is therefore ideal for emergency copper removal. It extracts all types of copper, including chelated copper, and remains effective until it turns dark blue. It can be renewed repeatedly. If used continuously, it will gradually extract the deposited copper from the gravel layer/substrate as well. CupriSorb will allow invertebrate maintenance in copper-treated tanks by removing copper leaching from the substrates.
CupriSorb is a powerful copper-specific chelating resin. Competing products are not chelating products, but are simply cation exchange resins. These resins can remove copper from fresh water but are ineffective in salt water.

Instructions :
Use 250 ml per 600 L (150 US gal) to remove up to 7,500 mg (12 ppm) of copper. Use it in a filter media bag like bag. For best results, Bridge Sorb should be placed in a way that maximizes water flow through it. To remove undetectable copper from the substrate, keep CupriSorb in use for at least two weeks after copper tests indicate no copper. Use in a canister filter, chemical filtration unit, box filter, or any high flow area of a distillation filter.
