Jewel Nitrax XL Compact Nitrate Sponge for BioFlo XL (8.0). The sponge is designed to reduce nitrate levels in the aquarium. This in turn helps reduce the amount of algae and helps provide a healthier aquarium for your fish and plants. Nitrax is also a biological filter that contains specialized microorganisms to break down toxic metabolites in the aquarium. It is recommended to change your Nitrax sponge every two months for optimal performance. Suitable for Joel Rio 400/450, Vision 450 and Trigon 350.
