So what about all this debate over crate sizes? Imagine your pet trying to stand, turn, or sit in a crate that's too small. The best way to choose the perfect crate size for your puppy is to measure from the top of its head to the ground, then from the tip of its nose to the base of its tail. The crate height should be 3-4 inches taller and longer than your pet to ensure there is enough room to stand fully, turn easily, and lie down comfortably! If the crate is too small, your pet will feel uncomfortable; if it's too large, your pet may try to use the Pigeons in its space.
