PhosNet is a granular ferric oxide (GFO) with high porosity, high surface area and high binding capacity. It will quickly remove phosphates and silicates from freshwater and saltwater and will not release them back into the aquarium.

Instructions:
For best results, PhosNet should be rinsed before use and positioned so that it maximizes water flow through it but not so that it rolls over on itself during flow. It can be used in a canister filter, media chamber, box filter, or any high flow area of a trickle filter. It is recommended to use a filter bag such as a bag.
Use 50 grams (half a cup) for every 200 liters (50 US gallons) of salt water or 400 liters (100 US gallons) of fresh water.
