Aquavitro Shrimp pHa is one part of a two-part system that helps replicate the water chemistry found in the native habitats of freshwater shrimp by buffering the water to the natural pH of each specific species of shrimp. Used as directed, pHa Shrimp maintains proper pH parameters for freshwater shrimp while also softening the water and supporting plant growth in shrimp ponds. The Shrimp pHa is made with a unique buffer system that is very stable and does not add sodium, which can damage the plants in the aquarium.

Instructions:
Use it when setting up the aquarium and when changing the water. Use with Shrimp pH to target pH. All doses provided are 20 liters (5 US gal). Doses can be safely doubled if necessary. For sensitive shrimp or to avoid the risk of any pH shock, consider dividing doses over a 12-24 hour period.

To lower the pH in Menu aquariums simply: Add 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) of Shrimp pH per 20 liters (5 US gal) every 12 hours until you reach your target pH. Do not exceed this dose. Rapid changes in pH can be very harmful to shrimp. Some aquariums may require repeated dosing to overcome the buffering capacity of certain substrates and decorations. This is especially the case with humite- Menu soils.
