Marine Buffer 500g

Marine Buffer will safely raise your marine pH to 8.3. It will not raise the pH above 8.3 even if an overdose is taken unintentionally. Marine Buffer is a mixed product and is not just sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate, it is often sold as an alternative.

Instructions:
Add 5 grams (1 teaspoon) per 80 liters (20 US gallons). Dissolve in at least one cup of fresh water. This dose will also raise alkalinity by about 1 mEq/L. Add daily until the pH stabilizes at 8.3. This will take from a day to a week, depending on the original pH and alkalinity. After that, use it every two weeks or monthly to maintain pH 8.3.
