Aquavitro Shrimp Start is the complete conditioner for your freshwater shrimp aquarium. Shrimp starter removes chlorine, chloramines and ammonia. Shrimp convert ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form that can be easily removed by the tank's biofilter. Shrimp starter can be used during tank cycling to mitigate ammonia/nitrate toxicity and allow the biofilter to remove them more efficiently. It also detoxifies heavy metals found in tap water. Shrimp starter is non-acidic and will not affect the pH. Use at startup and when adding or replacing water.

Instructions:
Use 5 ml (1 teaspoon) for every 20 liters (5 US gal) of new water. It can be added directly to the tank, but it is best to add it to new water first. If adding directly to an aquarium, base dosage on aquarium size. The smell of sulfur is normal. For exceptionally high chloramine concentrations, a double dose can be used safely. For emergency nitrite detoxification, up to 5 times the normal dose may be used. If the temperature is greater than 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia levels are low, use half the dose.
